Visiting Teaching Reminder Magnet

For each Visiting Teacher, I made a refrigerator magnet to help remind them to get their Visiting Teaching done each month.  The heart that hangs from the magnet has "fed" and "hungry" on either side.  When visits need to be made, the "hungry" side shows, and when the teaching is completed, the heart is turned to "fed".

I passed this out with the new routes printed with a quote...

Materials:
card stock
colored pencils
self-adhesive magnet strips (can be purchased by the roll)
embroidery floss
scissors
glue
hole punch

To assemble:
Print out the hearts and sheep and copy to cardstock.  I was able to put 6 sheep to a page and 24 hearts to a page.  Cut out, and glue hearts wrong side together so the words show on both sides.  (Make sure you keep the two separated or you might have a "double head" nickle situation! :))  Color in the sheep as you like.  I used a black colored pencil for the snout and added a little pink to the cheeks. Laminate and cut out again.  Punch a small hole in the hearts and thread the embroidery floss through.  Attach to the back of the magnet by placing the ends of the floss under the adhesive side of the magnet.
