Tell Me the Stories of Jesus
All images Copyright 1997-1998 Christine Wardle.

Materials:
  • Posterboard
  • Brads (you can also use yarn)
  • Markers
  • 6 Top-loading protective sleeves
  • Scissors
On a piece of posterboard, I drew two children looking over the top of an open "book". The
"book" is actually a box the size of an open loose-leaf binder. Inside the box, use the protective sleeves as a stencil to mark holes (mark two sets of holes if you are using yarn or string). Then, punch out the holes. Attach the protective sleeves to the poster with the brads. This makes a nice "book" display that I use for other songs as well!

You will need the following pictures of Christ (8 1/2" x 11" - You can get a set of scripture illustrations from the distribution center or your local LDS bookstore for about $10.00, or use illustrations from the back of old teaching manuals.):

Using the art in the .ZIP file, arrange your pictures (back to back so you see two pictures
when you open the "book") in the following order:

1: Title page (Print "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus" on an 8 x 11 sheet)
                            2: eye, heart, ear
3: Christ Teaching by the Sea
                            4: question mark
                            5: Christ With the Children
                            6: boat, bible
                            7: Jesus Blessing Jairus's Daughter
8: Christ with the Nephite Children
                            9: sea
                            10: Jesus the Christ
                            11: tossed boat
                            12: Stilling the Storm

This covers all 3 verses, and the kids respond well to "reading" the story. For the Senior Primary, you can take out the drawings, and just use the Church's illustrations of the Savior.
