I also tried something new with the Sr. Primary that went really well! I printed out the words to the first verse and chorus in different fonts. I put about two words or phrases to a piece of paper, lenghtwise and cut the paper in half, lengthwise.
I then taped all of the phrases up on a blackboard - out of sequence. I sang the song, and then the kids had to put the words in order from memory. Our pianist played the song through as they looked for the right pieces. Once it was all put together, we sang it through once, and I had different children take away different pieces. We would then sing it again.
This went on until the board was empty, and the kids now know the song! They really liked it!
