When you awaken each morning roll out on your knees in prayer,
To thank your father in Heaven for His love and tender care,
To ask for His loving guidance and His protection throughout the day.
To help you meet the trials of life and resist temptations that come your way.
To help you make righteous decisions,
Always with an eternal view,
That will lead you back to our father in Heaven,
When your life on earth is through
To take the Savior with you,
Wherever you go, in all you say and do,
So you'll be worthy of the constant companionship,
Of the Holy Ghost to guide and comfort you.
To help you look for deeds of kindness,
That will show your thanks to our father above,
For the many, many blessings,
That come each day to you with His love.
To be perceptive to the needs of those around you,
To lift them and brighten up their day.
To act upon the things you see,
In those you meet along your way.
Then at night when the day is over to report to your gather in Prayer.
To share with Him the joys you've felt, your sorrows, your concerns to share.
To ask forgiveness when you slip and fall. To help you get up and try again.
To love the Lord with all your heart, and to love and serve your fellow men.
