"The
Things I Do"
Children's Songbook p. 170
Materials:
-
1 plastic page protector (top loading)
-
heavy tape
-
Scissors
-
Posterboard
-
Markers
To Assemble:
Draw or copy a picture of a girl or boy
thinking onto the posterboard. Inside the thought bubble, cut out
a 7 1/2" x 10" window. Place the protective sleeve behind the opening,
and tape three sides (not the top) to the back of the poster.
Print out each picture on a separate piece of
paper and color. Place in order inside the sleeve, pulling them out
as you sing the song to expose the next picture. You can add "tabs"
by folding a small piece of tape over the top edge of each picture to make
them easier to remove.
To save an
image (they are reduced to fit your screen), simply place your mouse icon
over the picture, click on the right mouse button, and "save as".
Then, you can pull it into your word processor or graphics program like
regular clipart.
The images will
be larger and clearer than they appear on the screen.
I'm much too young to go abroad
To teach and preach the word of God,
But I can show I know it's true

Quite simply by the things I do.
The people in my neighborhood

Will judge the Gospel bad or good

By how I act at work or play
And not just on the Sabbath Day.
I will take my friend to church with me

Where I will act with dignity. My
reverence and my happy face
Will tell him its a sacred place.
In everything I do he'll see I am what I
profess to be.
And when the Elders find his door
He'll say "Come in, and tell me more."
