Here is the basic idea, feel free to use your own creativity with this. I am going to set up the primary room with four road signs that I made up myself. I will also have a picture of the Prophet on a table at the front where all can see. I am going to explain to the children that I need to leave the room to get ready for sharing time, but before I can do so I need them to learn something first. When I return I will be asking them "what should I do?" and I need them to respond; "Ask the prophet!" I will then practice having them do this a few times then I will leave the room. When I leave the room, my counselor is going to turn on the tape recorder and it will have the Mission Impossible Theme song playing on it that I downloaded and recorded off the internet. I taped about 30-45 seconds of it. I will be out in the hall putting on my trench coat, getting my map and putting on a sombrero around my neck, another hat that looks like it's from Hawaii, and then grab my map of course. I will come in flustered, out of breath and really confused. My four signs on the wall are "DO NOT OBEY", "STOP DOING GOOD", U TURN AWAY FROM CHRIST", and YIELD TO SIN".

These all coincide with the four topics that I have gotten from the Prophets talks this past General Conference. (I recorded the prophets voice onto a tape recorder from this last conference...go to the church's official website) I will have also dimmed the lights and will explain to the kids that I have been lost and traveling the world trying to find my way. I will first point to my DO NOT OBEY sign, that has an arrow pointing one way. I will explain that I have seen this sign before, but it didn't help me much. I will then say "What should I do?" Hopefully the kids will have picked up on this and answer appropriately. I will then shine my flashlight to the picture of the prophet and that is the cue for someone to push play on the tape recorder. We will listen to a quick excerpt from the prophet about being good and faithful people and paying our tithing. I will then ask the kids what they heard and ask why we need to do that.

Then I will look to my map and say " ahhhh here it is Tithing Ct. I need to turn this way!" Then I will point to my next sign.....that will lead me down "Love One Another Way", then "Follow Christ Freeway" and Testimony Lane" etc. ( Each time I will lead the kids into a small discussion.) I will explain that it's our testimony that is the basis of our faith,,, just like the prophet said. Testimony Lane takes me straight to my destination.... I will turn my map around so all can read what I have written in bold print.....Celestial Kingdom!!

I want to end by bearing my testimony to the children that just when we think that we know the way to happiness and peace we get lead down the wrong path. It is up to us to find our way back. There is one voice that is clear, unpolluted, and unbiased that we can always count on and that is the voice of our living prophet and his apostles. I want to also tell them that it is no small thing to have a prophet of God in our midst. Great and wonderful are the blessings that come into our lives as we listen to the word of the Lord given to us through our prophet. (read Brother M. Russell Ballards talk for more ideas)
