He Sent His Son
p. 34

Honestly, I think this song will work best in a book format.  Print out and place pictures (On separate pages) into protective sleeves.  Arrange them in order into a notebook or use brass brads to attach the pages to a piece of posterboard.  As you go through the words of the song, simply turn the pages.
You can whittle the pictures down through memorization to the Library pictures, and use these for your CSMP in September.

Variations:
Have one half of the Primary ask the questions in the song, and the other half respond.  You can have classes stand with the pictures as they answer the questions.

Cut out large a large speech bubble and walk throughout the Primary.  When you place the cut out above a child's head, they ask the question and the rest of the Primary responds.  Or, have the Primary ask the question, and the child with the bubble over their head responds.

Play Hot Potato with the cut out bubble.  Sing the song, and have the children pass the bubble around to eachother.  Have the pianist stop playing, and the child holding the bubble has to tell you what the next word is.  Then, start singing from that word.  This can become a little rowdy, but is a good way to get wiggles out.

Print out the bubbles for the song (with the words underneath the graphic), and tape them to a chalkboard so the children can't see the images.  Do the same with the pictures from the library.  (You might need to cover the titles on the backs of the pictures.)  Have a matching game with the questions and the responses.  You can have the "team" with the most matches pick the next song to sing...

How could the Father tell the world

of love and tenderness?

(Picture of the Nativity)
He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness.

How could the Father show the world the pathway we should go?

(Picture of Christ calling his disciples)
He sent his Son to walk with men on earth, that we may know.

How could the Father tell the world of sacrifice, of death?

(Picture of ressurected Christ in garden with Mary)
He sent his Son to die for us and rise with living breath.

What does the Father ask of us?

What do the scriptures say?

Have faith, have hope, live like his Son,

(Picture of the Good Samaritan)
help others on their way.

What does he ask?

(Picture of Christ)
Live like his Son.
