I thought it might be nice to list the recipes I use each month, not just so you can see what I am actually cooking, but to chronicle new recipes and what family favorite trends are for me. ;)
NEW Trial recipes are marked with **
OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2006
(since I'm starting in the middle of the month...)
Each recipe is doubled for the month, except for the Sunday ham.
- Ham and Potatoes (leftover ham to be used in my freezer recipes and for split pea soup)
- Hamburger Stroganoff
- Grandma's Spaghetti and Meatballs
- "Candy" Meatballs (...Really a version of BBQ meatballs, but 'candy' was more appealing to my kids when they were toddlers, and the name stuck. I use tomato soup and diced tomatoes in the sauce now to up the nutritional value. I also add celery, onions and carrots to my meatballs.)
- Dad's Burgers
- Cheeseburger Rice (again, I modified this to use less cheese and diced tomatoes, as well as tomato soup instead of catsup.)
- Crockpot Lasagne - meatless
- Crockpot Chili - new recipe from last month that the family LOVES
- Cheesy Sausage Bake - my own concoction. I'll put the recipe up tonight!!
- Calzones - I use a nice yeast bread recipe for the crust, and fill with hamburger, pepperoni, cheese and this time I am testing ham and pineapple.
- Cashew Chicken - BEST MEAL EVER!!!! (At least, it's MY favorite!)
- Chicken Tetrazzini
- ** Chicken Divan - Chicken, Swiss cheese and broccoli. Sounds promising!
- ** Chicken Chowmein - I love Asian food, so I really hope this works out well!
- ** Crockpot Ham Augratin - New crockpot recipes will certainly help!
Still in the freezer:
- Pork & Beans
- Apricot Chicken
- Stroganoff
- Beef & Broccoli
- Stuffed Shells
- Dad's Burgers (for Monday night!)
