CREATE-A-FRAME
Save those cherished camp memories in a frame designed by YOU! Materials needed: wood frame, spackle, imagination.
To make, remove the glass from the frame. Apply globs of spackle to the frame, and smooth out (make sure it is at LEAST 1/4" thick). Have the girls pick up items from around the campsite: twigs, pebbles, small pine cones, etc. They can embed the items they choose into the spackle, and decorate their frames. Allow to dry. When dry, they can leave them as-is, or paint.
You can also do this by lashing together pieces of wood found around the campsite to make the frame base, then spackle the outside. A fun way to pass off a skill!
Decorate a PRAYER
ROCK! Have the YW find a smooth rock to paint a face on. Use
one of the
Prayer Rock Poems to attach to it.
